The “lego” BK looks funny but I don’t think I like it. I am not buying the gold pass for the skin anyway, the 20% discount is well worth it by itself.

This is probably the last gold pass I buy until the next update, I am going to be maxed before the end of this season.

Hammered another mortar upgrade.

Then I booked the final mortar which means my mortars are now maxed. I still have a few archer towers and traps to go.

Booked the final level of valks which give a smaller boost compared to their prior level. If they grew 20%, they could actually become a contender for TH13 meta. SC seems to want to make them a tank, but they’re no good since they run too fast and die to 2 spring traps. Spring traps are also why I suggested in my previous post that they need >33% the stats of pekka to be considered usable.

You’re not seeing things and there’s no deja vu, I used two book of buildings one after another to upgrade 2 archer towers on the same day. I used the season bank loot to afford 3 upgrades on the same day, needed the 10% discount to be able to afford all 3 though. Generally, you will most likely spend the 25/25mil on walls if you don’t have the books.

This is my base after spamming magic items and my season bank loot. I now have all 4 mortars maxed which look quite pretty honestly. Once my archer towers are done, my base would look even better with fully matching defenses. Given the tiny increase of archer towers, they will probably get another level and I wonder how SC is going to make them match the TH13 motive.

I have 4 archer towers upgrading and 2 more pending to be upgraded. I don’t plan to upgrade any more archer towers normally and will use books/hammers to complete the last upgrades. I will then upgrade traps the regular way and probably buy a few builder potions and spam them.

Stone stammer to lvl3, though is useless for donations, allows me to switch it up and use them in raids if I need to. They were nerfed quite badly on day 1 of release because they were balanced around TH12 when released and were way too strong when used by TH10. This is an example of bad balancing and bad future-proofing the game. Now TH13 has no stone slammer level because it would be too strong for TH10/11 and even if we get a new level, it would be balanced around TH10/11. This is why I keep asking for siege machine limits for lower levels, lvl1 for TH10, lvl2 for TH11, lvl3 for TH13. This allows good balancing between levels and ensures that lowbies don’t get to use high level stuff to smash high levels.

  1. Hello Sin, I think that siege machine level limits for lower THs is a great idea! I think that supercell made the siege barracks exactly for this reason. It is a powerful siege machine for TH13, but at lower THs it is still balanced because the wizards and P.E.K.K.A.s are the level you have in your lab! Now if only all the siege machines could be this balanced!

  3. Do you recommend using a hammer of building for the townhall? I’m overflowing on loot and I just want to do the upgrade ASAP to th 11 so I can start on the warden.
