Hero Hall and Max Hero Levels
The November 2024 update, which introduced Town Hall 17, brought many changes to the Clash of Clans. One of the biggest changes, apart from the new Town Hall itself, is the addition of the Hero Hall.
Before this update, you could start upgrading your heroes to higher levels immediately after upgrading your Town Hall. However, with the new update, you must first upgrade the Hero Hall before leveling up your heroes.

Important Details:
- The Hero Slots column in the table shows how many heroes you can bring into battle. For example, at Town Hall 8 (TH8), you have two heroes: the Archer Queen and the Barbarian King. However, with one Hero Slot available, you can only take one hero into a battle.
- The Archer Queen, which was previously unlocked at TH9, can now be unlocked at TH8 by upgrading the Hero Hall to level 2. At TH8, she can be upgraded up to level 10.
- The Minion Prince becomes available at TH9. However, with only two Hero Slots at this level, you can bring any two of your three heroes into battle.
- To upgrade your heroes, you must first upgrade the Hero Hall to unlock the upgradeable levels for your current Town Hall.
