Journal (TH9 day 92)
Done another level of BK. Dangerously low DE here, seems like my reserve has been exhausted. Now I need 90k acutely to get AQ 21 going within 5 days, so that’s around 18k per day so need to really farm hard. I think I wouldn’t be able to afford BK 20 right after that so that will suck, unless I can farm 200k within 7 days, so that’s around 28k per day. I’ll see how it goes, no need to keep both heroes down so urgently because I’m already so ahead of my competition. They’re still milling in TH8 while I’m already almost done with TH9
The secret of saving elixir:
This is one of the sad things in the game. Costs increases greatly, but effect doesn’t increase much. I’ve done most of my TH9 farming with just lvl2 rage spell, which I’m just only catching up to max right now. I’ll bear with the higher costs since I won’t use so many spells in TH10 anymore until I max my offense and AQ

How did you farm de at th8 using hogs…could u explain?
And how many raids per day?

I only needed cc hogs, target anything above 1.2k (preferably TH7). I do about 10-15 raids per day. Check out my entries for my TH8 stuff
Lab troops aren’t good, get lvl5 barb, arch, giants and goblins. Spend some time upgrading barracks and maybe dark barracks as well. Try to max those drills, they produce about 1k per day which is a good bonus to recoup from defensive losses
Oh yes im upgrading the troops and drills. And since I wont be using anything above wiz for a long time ill stop with the barracks. But I still do not get how using cc hogs can u raid the de storage?
Ah, yes for TH8 I think bowlers or valks are better. Hogs were better in TH7 because 4 maxed hogs were enough to decimate an entire TH7 base. You can still use 5 maxed hogs to take out a maxed TH7, but lvl4+ valks and lvl2+ bowlers are more helpful
Yes, but HOW do you raid with them..do you break open walls and storage raid? Because you always get 250k+ which I assume is from collectors and not storages
Raids without spells and not all giants used are very characteristic of collector raids. I tend to use 2-3 spells per storage raid
For true storage raids, I tend to send 2 groups of giants adjacent to each other and wb them all the way into a TH8 core
