Here’s my defense log for the past 3 days. I’ve sustained 9 defenses in 3.5 days and look how much I lost. Just goes to show that defense towers doesn’t really matter much in defense, its all about low intimidation and good base design
Pretty much similar progress as yesterday except I did one gold mine upgrade. BK is awake now because I couldn’t afford to upgrade him but I can upgrade him tomorrow after my gold storage is done. However, if I do so, BK will once again wake up around the time of AQ. Its so hard…
I’d like to show you all my TH10 which I’ve upgraded around 1.5 months ago. Using the Crows for DE defense, so far my DE is rarely touched so I’m happy with the base. Maxed infernos right off the bat yet seeing no improvement on defense, because now I’m being hit by much stronger armies….

Just going to show off all the upgrades I’ll be doing first. Book of buildings is usually only worth it for 14 day upgrades, but upgrading barracks mean I farm slower which is worse. This is why besides using them on 14 day upgrades, using BoB on barracks (at least for the last 2 levels)…
Starting out by showing off my good loot raid. I was using goblins to drop trophies I think, came across this and mentally kicked myself for not having barch. Was still able to get most of the loot which was fine. Seriously, having maxed heroes are such a great boon, can’t wait for max them…
Your design works well for me, 85% of attacks ends with the core quite untouched. Strong attackers only hit me when DE is high, but they don’t show so much as in that case everyone attacks me including those small attackers giving plain shield for 16h in exchange of 300K G/E. <- a nice trade.

I personnaly don't mind if you gem as long as you explain why and may be you analyse the pro/cons.
