Its been a long journey and I’m still loving it. I’m quite sure its rushing that kept the fire alive for me. Tons of players max each TH and burn out, quite evident when you see so many newly upgraded TH9/10 dead bases, and they’ve maxed their prior TH level.
Maxing gives you a false sense of security, being the big fish in the small pond. When you’re moved into a new pond, many players simply can’t adapt. That’s why rushing and permanently being a small fish doesn’t generate such psychology. Furthermore, rushing makes it faster for you to ultimately become the big fish in the big pond.
